Poking around YouTube this morning looking for something else entirely (a couple of former troupe members were on America's Got Talent last night), I found this. I have no idea who these people are or where this aired.

    Thanks for tracking that down. I'm not sure that the producer of this show knew they were taping. I sure didn't...

  Wow, taping without permission is so very uncool. Taping and broadcasting without permission is just flat-out wrong.

        I'm not sure I can. I mean, it's America -- anyone can sue anyone for anything -- but I think it's the producer's right to sue them.

          You can probably get them to take it off of the web and never rebroadcast it by pointing out that none of you signed waivers allowing yourselves to be filmed and broadcast. Okay, considering how little they seem to care about those things, they might not be swayed by that, but sending in on official-looking letterhead could be sufficiently scary.

            Multiple camera angles makes me think the show's producer's had to know there was taping going on. One camera I can see snuck in, but three?
            
            That said, you can definitely have it taken down, and possibly even an apology issued. If you didn't sign a waiver you still have all rights to the use of your name and likeness and public performance rights as well.
            
            I'd say be happy for the free publicity, but some of the comments made by the show hosts.. well, they're not unflattering, but they do seem to perpetuate some of the negative aspects attributed to the art form.

    I found it on the NBC site. Dominique was on -- and I think Morgan was too, but I can't stand to sit through the whole thing.

      Dom says that they didn't air Morgan's segment. The tiny bit I watched makes me so glad we chose not to audition.
